My work...

Nature is a restorative for me and I take inspiration from hikes, days spent cycling the Santa Monica Mountains, even walking with my dog in the park. Plants and animals almost always feature as subjects and symbols in my paintings, populating mystical landscapes, illustrating narratives and inspiring compassion for our natural environment. My work shares an enlightened and positive experience of nature as a life giving force that exists perfectly, as is, with a divine logic.

 About me...

I have exhibited mostly in DC, CO,  and LA and completed 6 public mural projects throughout Los Angeles County. I have experience as an administrator, running my own gallery from 2009-2012, and I give back to my community by co-founding/ leading the local non-profit Inglewood Open Studios whose mission is to support local artists through professional development, advocacy and exposure. I have a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design and teach Drawing and Painting at the College campus in Westchester.
