A portion of proceeds from sales benefit WriteGirl (a 501C3), whose teen girls wrote the haikus in this mural. WriteGirl is a creative writing and mentoring organization that pairs professional women writers with underserved teen girls in Los Angeles to help girls discover the power of their creative voices. Each purchase is accompanied by a free WriteGirl book and original haiku poem, one of the 13 poems reproduced on the mural at LAX.
